FISLL Celebrates Their Black History Collection and FISLL Day at Madison Square Garden

NEW YORK, NY – FISLL, the lifestyle brand founded by NBA legend Allan Houston, is excited to announce its Black History Collection and FISLL Day at Madison Square Garden on Monday, January 15th at 3:00 PM. The event will coincide with the Martin Luther King Jr. game day, celebrating the life and legacy of the civil rights leader.

Allan shares, “When my father became the 1st black head basketball coach in the Southeastern Conference at the University of Tennessee, it confirmed my calling to play the game for a bigger purpose. It was continuing a legacy of faith, leadership and social responsibility.

I am thrilled to partner with the NBA in presenting the Black History Collection, designed to inspire all people to strive forward and consider the significance of their personal legacy.”

The Allan Houston Legacy Foundation’s Tickets Together Program will enable two father-child pairs to attend the game, for an unforgettable bonding experience. The attendees will be gifted with FISLL merchandise as a token of this special occasion.

In addition, Madison Square Garden will host a silent auction in honor of Martin Luther King Jr., with all proceeds going back to support MLK-related causes. FISLL is proud to contribute to this auction with the Allan Houston Experience, where the winner will have the opportunity to meet Allan Houston at a game and receive FISLL merchandise. Net proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit The Garden of Dreams Foundation. The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization that works with MSG Entertainment and MSG Sports to bring life-changing opportunities to young people in need. 

During halftime, Allan Houston will make a special appearance at the Knicks store. Guests who make a FISLL purchase will have the exclusive opportunity to meet Allan and take a picture with him.

FISLL Launches Faith Campaign, Encouraging Individuals to Share Personal Stories of Faith

Allan Houston’s Social Impact Initiative launches Inspiring Faith Campaign: Share Your Story in a 1-2 Minute Video

NEW YORK, NY – Former NBA All-Star Allan Houston was inspired when his mentee and FISLL ambassador Nate Sugar, a high school junior, wanted to launch a Faith Campaign. He shares, “I am honored to be working on this campaign with Allan Houston and Darius Jones and their teams. All of whom have been mentors to me. I think teens and young people need role models who live their values and who share their faith proudly.” FISLL, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals through the fundamental values of faith, integrity, sacrifice, leadership and legacy, is excited to announce the launch of its inspiring Faith Campaign. The campaign invites individuals from all walks of life to share their personal stories of faith in a 1-2 minute video.
